Brooke Carpenter

Brooke received her Post-Bachelor Certificate in Athletic Therapy on the President’s Honour Roll from Mount Royal University. Prior to this Brooke completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion with Distinction from St. Lawrence College. During Brooke’s time as a student she worked with football, hockey, basketball, soccer, rugby, and volleyball.

Brooke was very active growing up, competing as a gymnast as well as participating in most school sports as an all-round athlete. Brooke knew from a young age that she wanted help athletes perform their best. This love of sport and the drive to help people is why Brooke knew pursuing a career in Athletic Therapy was right for her.

When Brooke isn’t in the clinic, she can be found working in the community. Brooke is the Athletic Therapist coordinator for Calgary Fire Elite Girls Hockey, where she also works with one of the elite teams. Brooke is also a member of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team and can be found travelling across western Canada to provide pre- and post-event care and in-arena coverage for the professional athletes.

Brooke loves treating athletes of all ages and those engaging in physical activity at any level. She’s a problem solver and strives to understand the core of each injury or condition. Whether acute or chronic, Brooke enjoys being part of the team effort necessary to get results! When her patients return to their activities, she might just celebrate with a little dance party - watch out!
